Terms of Service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms explain how Memorram works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you. We have tried to keep them clear and fair.
1. Who we are
Memorram (memorram.com) is operated by:
5 Metsovou str., 10682 Athens, Greece
Tax Identification Number (TIN): 998279795 · Tax Office: F.A.E. Athens
General Commercial Registry (GEMI) No.: 007944701000
Email: info@memorram.com · Phone: +30 215 2151230
In these terms, “Memorram”, “we” and “us” mean Pavla S.A. “You” means the person using the service.
2. The service
Memorram lets you create online memorials for people and pets: a page with a life story, photos, videos, audio recordings and tributes, which family and friends can visit and contribute to. Each memorial is kept online through its own paid plan.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and buy a plan.
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing info@memorram.com from the address you signed up with. We will cancel any active plans so you are not charged again, and delete your account and memorials.
4. Memorials and content
- Your content stays yours. You keep all rights to the stories, photos, videos and recordings you upload.
- You give us a limited permission to store, display and process that content only so we can run the memorial and the service (for example creating image previews), and to show it to the people you choose: everyone for a public memorial, only you for a private one.
- Only upload content you have the right to share. Where a memorial shows other living people, make sure they would be comfortable with it.
- Please create a memorial with care and, where possible, with the agreement of the closest family. If a close relative of the person remembered asks us to remove or change a memorial, we may contact you and, where the request is justified, restrict or remove it.
- Public memorials can be seen by anyone with the link and may appear in our public directory and in search engines. Private memorials are visible only to you while signed in and are never listed or indexed.
5. Contributions from visitors
Visitors to a public memorial can leave tributes and upload photos, videos or audio without an account. Contributions only appear after the memorial owner approves them. By contributing, a visitor confirms they have the right to share the content and allows the memorial owner and us to display it on that memorial. Visitors aged under 15 need a parent's or guardian's permission. A contributor can ask us to remove their contribution at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Memorram to publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy; to impersonate anyone; to create a memorial for a person who is alive without their consent; to send spam; or to interfere with the security or operation of the service. We may remove content that breaks these rules. You can report a memorial or a contribution by writing to info@memorram.com.
7. Plans, prices and payment
- Each memorial needs its own plan (Essential, Plus or Premium), billed monthly or yearly. Plans differ only in storage; current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
- Prices are shown in the currency you choose and are the final amount you pay. Any applicable taxes are included.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- A memorial is published as soon as its first payment succeeds.
8. Renewal and cancellation
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. We email you before every yearly renewal.
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account. You won't be charged again, and the memorial stays online until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Apart from your right of withdrawal (section 9) and where the law requires otherwise, payments for a period that has started are not refunded.
- If a renewal payment fails, we and Stripe will retry it over the following days and email you. If it still can't be collected, the plan ends and the memorial goes offline (section 11).
9. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from your first purchase of a plan within 14 days of the payment, without giving a reason. We will refund that payment in full to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request, and the memorial will go offline.
To withdraw, email info@memorram.com with your name, the email of your account and the memorial concerned, for example: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for the Memorram plan for the memorial [name], paid on [date].”
10. Plan and price changes
- You can switch plan or billing period at any time from the Billing page. The difference is calculated proportionally and added to, or credited against, your next invoice.
- If you move to a plan with less storage than you already use, existing media stays, but new uploads are paused until the memorial is within its limit.
- We may change our prices. Any change to your existing plan takes effect only from your next renewal after we have given you at least 30 days' notice by email, and you can cancel before it applies.
11. When a plan ends
When a plan ends (because it was cancelled or could not be renewed), the memorial is taken offline and visitors can no longer see it. Its content stays stored in your account for at least 12 months so you can bring it back by choosing a new plan. After that, we may delete it, but only after emailing you at least 30 days in advance. You can download a complete copy of a memorial (photos, videos, recordings, story and tributes) at any time from your account, and delete it yourself whenever you wish.
12. Availability and liability
- We work hard to keep Memorram available and your content safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Please keep your own copies of important photos and videos.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Greek or EU law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
- Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, or remove a memorial or contribution, if it seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the law. Unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to respond. If we close a paid plan for a reason that isn't your fault, we will refund the unused part of the current period.
14. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence; otherwise the courts of Athens have jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@memorram.com — most issues can be solved quickly. Consumers in Greece can also contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We will email you about important changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
